Semi-acrostic guitar

I couldn’t resist the pun there, sorry. Anyway this is another writing exercise that came from the friend I am writing with at the moment. In this case we gave each other 5 favourite words to include in a piece. The trickiest word for me was ‘oiseaux’ since it seems awkward as a non-English word in an English piece. In the end I used an acrostic for the letters of it.

Camouflage

Still
Shading turquoise from vertivert
Distinct (selected)
Ripples (oscillations)
Wide, outreaching
Not quite
Oceanic (Adriatic )
Indigo, disguised
Suffering but not in love
Each with(in) the murmur
Again
Unsatisfied
